Q: What kind of services do you provide?

 

A: We provide companion care and personal care services.  These services are designed to assist seniors and those with disabilities so that they may stay at home safely. Services can include meal preparation and cleanup, medication reminders, friendly companionship, light housekeeping, grooming or bathing assistance, trips to appointments, and many others.  Please see our In-Home Care Services page for more information.

Q: In what areas are your services available?

A: We are located in Malvern, PA and proudly serve Chester County, North Western Delaware County, Montgomery County and the Western Main Line.

Q: How do I start service?

A: Call us or e-mail us.  We will schedule an appointment at a time convenient for you.  We can also handle emergency situations too.

Q: How much does the service cost?

Q: How does in-home care cost compare to nursing homes or assisted-living?

A: Our services generally run about of assisted-living communities costs and about ¼ of what nursing homes charge.  Because our services are customized depending on your needs, you will only be paying for what you need and want.

Q: Where do you provide care?

A: We can provide care at home, in assisted living communities, nursing homes and over 55 communities.  We also provide our services in hospitals, acute care settings, and in rehabilitation and hospice facilities.

Q: Why should I use your service?

A: There are many reasons why There’s No Place Like Home is your best option:

Our Caregivers are our employees.  They have been screened, are bonded and insured. We take the responsibility so you don’t have to. 


Our Caregivers are backed up.  If your regular Caregiver is ill or has an emergency, we have other Caregivers who will cover until your Caregiver comes back to work.


We take our relationships very seriously.  Our management team is available to our clients 24 hours a day, seven day a week.  Have an issue or problem?  Simply pick up the phone and give us a call.  It’s that easy!

Q: Is your agency licensed?

A: Yes. There’s No Place Like Home is a licensed Home Care Agency in the state of Pennsylvania.

Q: How do you select your Caregivers?
 

A: All of our Caregivers are interviewed a minimum of two times.  We contact references and perform Police background checks on all of our Caregivers.

Q: How long does it take to get a Caregiver?

A: We can generally have a Caregiver ready to start within 24 hours.

Q: What if my Caregiver is sick or goes on vacation?

A. One of the benefits of dealing with There’s No Place Like Home is that we have a number of highly qualified Caregivers ready, willing and able to assist should your regular Caregiver become ill or go on vacation.

Q: Who pays the Caregiver and how do they get paid?


A: All of our Caregivers are employees of There’s No Place Like Home. We invoice you for the services rendered and we pay the Caregivers.  We also pay workers compensation insurance and handle taxes and other benefits for our Caregivers.

Q: Are your services covered by Medicare?

A: Regrettably no.  Medicare only covers acute skilled care, usually after a being in a hospital.

Q: Can I change the schedule if I need to?

 

A: Yes.  Our services are for you and your loved ones.  We will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.
